St. Francis Memorial Hospital (SFMH) and Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) held the last Barry’s Bay mass Immunization clinic on March 23rd, 2022.  Going forward, the RCDHU staff will be operating smaller clinics in different locations throughout the County.  Information on where you can get a vaccine can be found at www.rcdhu.com  and appointments can be booked online by visiting https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca/

SFMH has been running the Barry’s Bay Covid Clinic for just over a year and has provided 85 clinics, 18,230 vaccinations to 9,099 clients. Shown above from left: (Front row) Susan Farrar, Joanne Plebon, Val Redmond, Susan Coulas, Shirley Hill. We would like to sincerely thank our dedicated and compassionate staff who worked the clinics. Local nurses (some who came out of retirement) and the registration staff really stepped up to offer a personable, welcoming experience. SFMH would like to say thank you to the Barry’s Bay Royal Canadian Legion for providing the space and support to run the clinics over the past year.
