  1. To all those not getting a seat, “YOU DID NOT LOSE,” you came in second place. I ask you to understand this and to continue to act and help our community as you have done in the past. I came in second place many times but still worked to help our township. I, along with This Week Newspaper in the past, stopped the dumping of highly toxic radioactive liquid garbage waste from the Faraday dump on Monk Road that was overflowing from their cesspools. It was brought up to Barry’s Bay and dumped into Kamaniskeg Lake by many 18-wheeler liquid tanker trucks. This Toxic waste dumping was done with the approval of our Mayor and council at the time. The money paid to have it dumped was from Faraday Township and was partially hidden until our good newspaper at the time discovered it. From there, with the help of Margaret Mironowicz, we helped save many turtles crossing the road from being killed. So please, those that came in second, continue to support our township. Further, I wish to thank the Madawaska Valley Current for all the work and suffering they have done to bring us the truth and, in doing so, give us a better life in our community, as it seems like the old days have returned when we all had the much loved This Week Newspaper run by the great Hans Wetzel.
