Valley ghosts, ghouls and goblins (plus a few Superheroes!) were out at last Saturday’s Halloween Hunt in Barry’s Bay. Madawaska Valley Public Library CEO Natalie Barrington gave The Current some of the highlights. She said the Library handed out 160 treat bags – plus 230 of the hunters who headed to the Railway Station for some Hocus Pocus enjoyed a free hot dog lunch courtesy of the Barry’s Bay Recreation Committee. Barrington also provided the names of winners of the door prizes and said they will be called to collect their prizes at the Library.

Barrington expressed thanks to the many individuals and organizations that contributed to the Halloween Hunt saying, “So many local businesses participate and make donations.
