Meet Carolyn ApSimon – MV Library Artist for March

Friends of the Library should note this fun artist talk and demonstration happening on Saturday at 1pm at Madawaska Valley Public Library, 19474 Opeongo Line, Barry’s Bay. You can have a look at Carolyn’s wonderful artwork, hear about her process, and see a demonstration of her technique.

About the artist

Carolyn ApSimon worked in the medical profession in Ottawa for over 40 years before retiring to Barry’s Bay and embarking on her adventures in art. She became interested in Acrylic Flow/Pour Art several years ago after reading an article in the Citizen about this new art style. In her words: “My first attempt was all I needed. I was hooked. The applications of the art form are endless and years after starting I am still learning and experimenting with it. I hope you enjoy looking at this art form and maybe will be inspired to try it yourself. Be warned, it is very addictive!”

Carolyn’s artwork will be on display at the Library until the end of March.
