Valley Manor residents and visitors kicked off the holiday season with a recital performed by the students of Madawaska Valley Dance Studio on November 30. MV Dance owner, Chelsea Clarke, said this was the first opportunity the children had to perform all together. Although there was a wide range of ages among the pupils, all the young people were very excited about this opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned. Valley Manor activities director Lisa Yantha introduced the dancers and welcomed them on their first visit to the Manor. Above Junior Jazz class charmed the audience.
The performance opened with the Senior Contemporary ensemble dancing to Silent Night.

At the end of the half-hour recital, the whole Madawaska Valley Dance Studio came out for a bow as both Valley Manor residents and the dancers’ friends and families applauded enthusiastically.
