The uncertainty of these times can be scary for anyone, but parents of young children and expectant parents tell us they feel the strain. In response to the emergency restrictions because of the pandemic, Community Resource Centre (CRC) in Killaloe has switched to a virtual format so that it can deliver its programs for children up to 6 years, as well as prenatal sessions.
Maureen MacMillan of CRC explained, “We wanted to continue our programs in this format because we believe it’s important to continue to give young children a sense of security and predictability during these times. We’re hopeful that, with our regular scheduled programming online, EarlyON Toy Bus can once again become a part of our families’ regular routine.”
ZOOM-Along with Toy Bus
Mondays at 10 a.m.
After the first session last week MacMillan said, “We had a great turnout for our first session; we had 19 families sign up. It really lifted our spirits as a team to see all of our families’ faces, and watch all the children singing and playing along with us.” She said they intend to run a ZOOM-Along every Monday morning, so interested families should send their e-mail address to: maureen@crc-renfrewcounty.com
