The Toronto Maple Leaf fans captured the 2018 Stanley Brier Cup on Saturday Feb. 3 at the Killaloe Curling Rink. Leaf fans won the coveted award by defeating the Habs fans by a score of 37 to 24.

Members of the winning team are pictured:

  • Seated (L-R) Corrie Shulist, Lynn Yarwood, Lucas Rosandic, Joe Mullin, Jimmy Burchat
  • Missing from photo Fr. Scott Murray

This curling event between local Toronto Maple Leaf fans and local Montreal Canadiens fans is a feud game between Super Leaf fan Phil “Keon” Skebo and Super Habs fan Dave “Beliveau” Shulist. Our main goal is to have a competitive and friendly match to see who has bragging rights in each sport and to raise money for our community. We also do this with golf and hockey.

All proceeds from the Stanley Brier Cup curling event go to our local community curling rink, Killaloe Curling Club.
