Yes, we are referring to Drake who today broke a record set by the Beatles in 1964. His album Scorpion has posted seven simultaneous singles on Billboard’s Top 10, topping the Beatles’ five singles. He also surpassed Michael Jackson as the artist with the most Hot 100 Top 10s in his career among male artists. Drake now has a total of 31 to Jackson’s 30. And if that was not enough, Scorpion reached the one billion mark in total streams — something that has never happened for an album in its first week.

Toronto born and raised Drake first came to attention through his role in Degrassi: The Next Generation in which he appeared until 2007 playing the character Jimmy Brooks. He can be seen at many Toronto Raptor games, the team having appointed him Global Ambassador in 2013.
