The Township of Madawaska Valley has today posted this update and thanks everyone for complying with the Fire Ban.
The Total Fire Ban is still in effect. The Township of Madawaska Valley is included in the Province’s Restricted Fire zone. There are currently 139 active wildland fires in the province in various stages of control. MNRF WILDFIRE STATS (MEOC Situation Report 2018-08-01)
