The Madawaska Valley Horticultural Society hosted its annual Flower and Vegetable Show at the Royal Canadian Legion Barry’s Bay 406 on August 18. Volunteers worked hard behind the scenes setting up not just for the floral and produce exhibits but also to prepare for the annual Ines Boehme Tea that afternoon. More volunteers assisted the visiting Ontario Horticultural Society judges as they made their decisions. Pictured above is Scarecrow by Wendy Zakrzewski.
