Candidate for Mayor Andrey Kaminski contacted The Current today about his failure to give his opening statement at last week’s All Candidates Meeting. Kaminski apologizes to Madawaska Valley residents for being late, saying,
I was late mainly because of heavy traffic on the drive from Toronto.
Kaminski also told The Current why he was noticeably flustered.
I went to the candidates’ table, sat down and the mic was immediately handed to me to answer a question. That’s how I discovered the opening statements were already finished.
