Human remains found near Ruby Road

On Monday November 5, 2018 at approximately 10:49 am, the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of the discovery of human remains in the area of Ruby Road, in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards.

The human remains were located by hunters.

Members of the Killaloe OPP Detachment, with the assistance of the Renfrew County Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services Unit, and Emergency Response Unit are continuing to investigate. The remains will be sent to the Office of the Coroner for analysis.

Further information will be shared as the investigation continues. The Renfrew County Crime Unit is leading the investigation.
