Students plan movie night for hospital

The Student Activity Council (SAC) at Madawaska Valley District High School and Sherwood School will hold a movie night on Friday, February 22 to raise funds for St. Francis Memorial Hospital. The students plan to show the animated adventure film “The Incredibles 2.” Entry is free but the students hope moviegoers will make admission donations to benefit the hospital. Popcorn and other treats will be available for purchase. The show will start at 6:30 p.m.

In this Pixar sequel, The Incredibles hero family takes on a new mission involving a change in family roles: Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world.

The St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation has posted a Wish List on social media listing some items needed by St. Francis Memorial Hospital. They range in price from $63 to $1,200. SAC hopes moviegoers will dig deep into their pockets for local healthcare.
