Palmer Rapids man killed in ATV collision

On Sunday May 26, 2019 at approximately 1: 00 p.m., members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Ruby Mine Road, near Highway 28, in the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigation has revealed the driver lost control and struck a tree. The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Richard WALKER of Palmer Rapids.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are attending the scene to continue to investigate the cause of the collision. A post mortem has been scheduled.
