The Township of Madawaska Valley is now under a TOTAL FIRE BAN.
Notice from the municipality was received on July 27.
Under a Total Fire Ban NO open air burning is permitted. This means:
- NO campfires
- NO outdoor cooking fires (charcoal barbecues)
- NO fireworks
- NO burn permits will be issued during a Total Fire Ban
The fire ban will remain in effect until further notice.
