Killaloe Curling Club benefits from annual Stanley Brier Cup

Killaloe Curling Club members put the fun into fundraising with the annual Stanley Brier Cup event, a competition that pits curlers who are Toronto Maple Leafs fans against those who support the Montreal Canadiens. Sixteen matches  were played and  the Habs came out on top with a final score of 29 points to 21 points. Above from left are the winners: Carl Wall, Steve  Murray, Terry Brum, Dave “Beliveau” Shulist, Pierre Moncion, Brandon Coulas, Curtis D’Amour, Duncan Noble, Ron Kerr, Rene Bonacci, Ed Chippior, Andy Chapeskie, Paul Jorgensen. The money raised from the friendly feud between Super Habs fan Dave “Beliveau“ Shulist and his team vs. Super Leaf fan Phil “Keon” Skebo and his team goes to help maintain the rink, where the players are all members.
