Catching up with Catch The Ace

You don’t have to stop buying tickets just because Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Ace of Spades has been found. The St. Francis Valley Healthcare (SFVH) Foundation’s Ace remains hidden. Tickets are on sale now for Week #22, to be drawn next Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Ash Grove Inn in Barry’s Bay. Should your ticket reveal that elusive Ace, you could take home an estimated $52,101.

Congratulations to Week #21 winner, Susan Coulas, whose ticket got her a cheque for $2,501 and revealed the Two of Diamonds in envelope #17. Congratulations also to Meredith Scott who won $2,296 in Week #20. Scott, a nursing student, plans to use her winnings to help pay for her certification.

Confused about cannabis?

If you’re a senior with questions about medical cannabis, the Opeongo Seniors Centre may soon host a workshop to answer your questions. At least ten people are needed to organize the session. Workshop leaders, Green Rose Seniors, say it’s a simple and fun entry point into the exciting, often confusing, world of medical cannabis. If you’re interested, let the Seniors know at 613-756-0554.
