Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) reported at 12:00 p.m. today (April 7) that the number of positive cases of COVID-19 has risen to 10. The death toll in the region remains at 1. These numbers should be viewed against this background:
- 560 tests conducted to date
- 395 negative tests
- 155 tests pending results

Special considerations include: All persons over 70 years of age and individuals who are immunocompromised are advised to self-isolate.
All international travellers must:
- Immediately self-isolate for 14 days.
- If you are returning from Italy, Iran, or Hubei province (China), contact RCDHU at 613-735-8654 within 24 hours of arriving in Canada and provide your contact information.

If you live in Renfrew County and District, have a health concern (including a concern related to COVID-19) and need to speak to a physician, you should first call your family physician’s office.
If you do not have a family physician or cannot access your family physician, call the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre at 1-844-727-6404. A medical receptionist will connect you with care and support from a nurse practitioner, family physician and/or community paramedic. This new service is covered by OHIP with a valid health card.
