Simple guide to Ontario’s new social distancing

Many Ontarians were relieved to learn that the Province is gradually easing the COVID-19 restrictions. But a lot of people are confused by the new rules. Here’s a simple graphic explanation published by the Ontario Ministry of Health (MOH).

Social circles are different from social gatherings of 5 to 10 people. Note that you may only belong to one circle.

Social gatherings must still physically distance from others (2 metres apart).  See graphic inset

ON-weddings-phase-2-FBCeremonies: weddings and funerals

 

At both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, physical distancing is required from anyone not in your household or your established 10-person social circle. 

Indoor and outdoor wedding and funeral receptions are limited to ten people.
