Following the resignation of Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Mantifel at the October 14th meeting, the Council of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan (BLR) held a Special Council meeting on October 20 to deal with filling the vacancy. Members of Council discussed the job description for the position, a draft ad, and talked about how to cover the role until hiring takes place.
Following a closed session, Mayor Sheldon Keller reported that Council, with the assistance of County of Renfrew Human Resources, resolved to advertise for a Clerk/Treasurer using the draft ad as presented and set the salary range for the job from $58,000 to $63,000.
