Repeat winner snags second Catch The Ace prize

Week #43 Catch the Ace Lottery winner Brad Parisien of Barry’s Bay is the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s first repeat winner of the Catch the Ace weekly prize. Parisien took home $3,088 in the Week #31 draw; then his ticket was drawn again in Week #43. Last Thursday, Parisien won $6,217 when his lucky number 47 envelope revealed the Three of Diamonds. The Weekly Prize for Week #44 is estimated at $5,834 and if the Ace of Spades is found, the Total Winnings will be around $183,749. That Ace should turn up soon — get your $5 ticket for next week’s draw now! Proceeds to Valley Manor Redevelopment.

County Paramedics will hold their 10th Annual Food & Toy Drive on Dec.5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Walmart, 980 O’Brien Drive, Renfrew.

Madawaska Valley Holiday Lights Tour Dec. 14-20

Here’s how to participate:

  • Decorate your home or business for the holidays, then email a photo with your name, address and phone number to Recreation@MadawaskaValley.ca
  • Submitted entries will be shown on a map so you can DRIVE THE TOUR between Dec. 14-20 (map available at township office or online)
  • VOTE for your favourite displays on Facebook/Madawaska Valley
  • PRIZES of Local Business Gift Cards to the top three Homes and Businesses (First $75, Second $50, Third $25)
