The Current recently received the following information of interest to residents who want to Shop Local this holiday season.
With the traditional Tree Lighting and Moonlight Madness not happening quite the same this year, a few main street business owners have organized a new “FA LA LA LA LOCAL Shopping Event!” On December 4, some stores will stay open until 6:30 p.m. and will offer customers a range of discounts and specials (the most popular being “Save the Tax”). As of Tuesday, Dec. 1 the Barry’s Bay Business Improvement Area confirms that the following retailers will participate:
- Afelskie Shoes
- BayBud Cannabis
- Gift It Gray
- Mad Outdoors
- Talk O’ The Town
- V&S Stedman’s
