Madawaska Valley Studio Tour

The Summer Studio Tour is on now, but there’s still time to click HERE to visit Madawaska Studio Tour website and get your map of all participating artists’ studios. It’s a great day for a drive through the Valley. But even if you miss the Summer Tour, you can still enjoy the talent and crafts skills of Valley artists and artisans. Here’s how:

  • Many of the studios are open by appointment throughout the summer, just check the map and call to arrange a visit.
  • Mark your diary for the Fall Tour (Friday to Sunday) the weekend of Oct. 1 – 3.

Reopening means the return of many Valley favourites

With the province’s gradual reopening, many small local museums are now able to open. Click HERE to check out the Renfrew County Museums Network website or visit the Renfrew County Museums Network page on Facebook to see upcoming events.

Because the Bonnechere Caves were considered an “indoor space,” you haven’t been able to visit so far this season. But Caveman Chris Hinsperger advises that they will be open as of Tuesday, July 20. Remember to check for updates on road construction in the area of Fourth Chute Road.
