OPP bulletins at Oct.12

Operation Impact concludes

Many families travelled on OPP-patrolled roadways over the Thanksgiving weekend. Killaloe OPP officers were highly visible as they patrolled roadways, and ensured motorists were not engaging in unsafe driving behaviours.

During the four-day campaign, which began on October 8, 2021 and concluded October 11, 2021, officers conducted province-wide targeted enforcement and provided education on alcohol/drug impaired, aggressive, and inattentive/distracted driving, as well as lack of seatbelt use – all main causes of death and injury on our roadways.

The Killaloe OPP Detachment reports the following campaign results:

  • 39 Speeding Charges; and,
  • 1 Distracted Driving Charge.

Although the campaign has ended, safe driving never ends. Please drive responsibly.

In the event you are reporting an occurrence that does not require immediate police assistance, please call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to speak to someone at the Killaloe Detachment, contact 613-757-2600.
