More than 7500 cookies is a lot to smile about

The following was received from St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation:

A special thank you to our partners at the Barry’s Bay Tim Hortons — over $7,596 (that’s 7,596 cookies!) was raised for local healthcare, including the Valley Manor, Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care, and St. Francis Memorial Hospital. We are so grateful to those who purchased a $1 cookie and helped us surpass our goal of $6,500. We had an amazing team of volunteers who decorated cookies — we could not have done it without them! Thank you again to Barry’s Bay Tim Hortons’ staff, and owners Jason and Olena Armstrong for all your help to ensure a successful week.
