On Saturday February 19, 2022, shortly after 11:00 p.m., members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two pick-up trucks on Combermere Road in the Township of Madawaska Valley. Above, photo OPP.
As a result of police investigation, 21 year old Cody KELLER from Bancroft has been charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) and Highway Traffic Act (HTA) offences:
- Dangerous Driving (CC) ; and,
- Operation of Motor Vehicle While Performing A Stunt, HTA.
The accused was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Ontario Court of Justice, Killaloe. There were no reported injuries. Both vehicles were towed.
