Valley voters and business owners have access to a Virtual Online Debate for all provincial election candidates on Thursday, May 19 from 12pm to 1:30 pm; and to an in-person Meet & Greet at the Clarion Hotel, 900 Pembroke St.East, Pembroke, between 5pm and 7 pm. Thanks to organizer of these events, Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce, attendance at both the lunchtime debate and the cocktail hour meeting is FREE for UOV Chamber Members AND non-members. The UOV Chamber notice says, “Our entrepreneurs and business leaders need to hear from their political candidates how they intend to address matters that are important to the prosperity of the local economy.”
