Natalie has been a resident of Barry’s Bay for nine years and is an avid supporter of public libraries. As such, she has been a Library Board Trustee for the past four years and most recently assumed the role of acting Chair. As a Trustee she has been instrumental in shaping policy as well as volunteering her time to help with library programs and front desk duties, thereby gaining a solid understanding of day-to-day operations.
Natalie has a BA from Simon Fraser University with a major in Communications and a minor in Publishing, and a post-graduate diploma from Centennial College in Book and Magazine Publishing. Her resume includes twenty years of experience in the educational publishing industry as an editor and permissions researcher. Natalie states, “I’m grateful for this opportunity. There are a lot of exciting things happening at the library. I’m looking forward to being a part of its next chapter. I look forward to seeing everyone at the library!”
The Board and staff are very pleased to welcome Natalie to the position of CEO and look forward to working with her.
