BRANT, Joseph Clayton (1938 – 2024)
Joseph passed away in his sleep on July 9 2024 at home in Barry’s Bay with his son, Jake, by his side. He is survived by his wife, Charlene, his sister, Denise, and his brother, Ron. Joseph was a hard worker, and a loving father, husband and friend. He was father to five, and grandfather to ten. There was never a dull moment when he was around – he always had a joke to tell. Having lost his mother, Judy, when he was young, Joseph has asked that donations in his memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at his camp in Marathon on Shack Lake. Ashes will be spread, and handed out to anyone who would like a piece of Joseph with them always. Originally planned for July 27th, a new date for this event will be announced that allows time for family to travel from out of town and the United States.
It is with love, gratitude, solace and peace that we send you on your way, my friend. Always trucking, never quit.
Thank you for the condolences, support and loving memories of Joe. We will see you on the other side, my friend.
I love you always, Dad. Love, your son, Jake.
