Police release photo of suspect (Above)
The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the robbery that occurred in the City of Pembroke.
On August 8, 2024, at approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to a robbery at a convenience store in the 300 block of Pembroke Street East. An unknown individual entered the store, brandished an edged weapon, and demanded cash from an employee. The employee was not injured, and the person fled the scene with a quantity of cash and lottery tickets.
The person of interest is described as:
- White male with a thin build
- approximately 168 cm (5’6″)
- approximately 59 kg (130 lbs)
- had a rough sounding voice
- a black ski mask was covering their face
- wearing a blue hoodie, possible Champion logo on left chest (see photo)
- dark pants
- black and white skateboard type shoes
Anyone with information regarding the suspects identity or has security and/or doorbell camera footage from the Peter Street and Pembroke Street East area during August 8, 2024 between the hours of 3:00 to 4:00 a.m. is asked to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-732-3332 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or at www.valleytips.ca.

So this is an easy one to figure out OPP. find out what the lottery number is, publish it as a winner, and when he or she comes to collect it reward them with handcuffs.
