Only four cards remain hidden in Catch The Ace lottery

Valley residents are in a fever over St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s popular progressive lottery Catch The Ace. This week’s prize drum held 6,139 draw tickets and before drawing the winning ticket for Week 48, SFVHF Executive Director Erin Gienow reminded viewers watching on Facebook Live that the seventh lottery is their longest-running one to date. The third lottery ran for 47 weeks and the progressive jackpot winner took home $215,000.

Tonight’s winner was Margot Laporte who chose envelope number 23 which revealed the Seven of Clubs. Although the Ace of Spades was not caught, she won a very substantial Weekly Prize of $12,278. Congratulations, Margot!

Gienow thanked the in-person ticket vendors and acknowledged the many SFVHF volunteers who help run the lottery, including the drivers who distribute tickets and collect the proceeds and ticket stubs from the vendors, a dedicated team of volunteers who validate every ticket that goes into the drum, and even Barry’s Bay Minor Hockey for lending a larger drum for this week’s draw. And of course she thanked everyone who purchased tickets. A review of this week’s numbers showed that from the Week 48 draw alone, SFVHF received $30,695. With Catch The Ace lottery proceeds going to help support local healthcare, everyone is a winner.

The Ace of Spades lives on
