Editor’s Note: Last Thursday’s Catch The Ace draw left just two cards play – both Aces – and an estimated jackpot of $318,554. That means there is a one in two chance of finding that elusive Ace of Spades. If this week’s winner selects the envelope containing the Ace of Spades that’s the end of this lottery round. But if the Ace of Hearts is revealed the Week 51 winner will receive a substantial weekly prize and the progressive lottery continues for one more week.

Congratulations to Teressa Dougherty of Bancroft whose name was pulled in the Week 50 Catch the Ace draw! Above: Teressa Dougherty with cheque. Photo submitted. Teressa purchased her ticket at the Barry’s Bay MacEwen and chose each of the remaining envelopes, but her ticket with envelope 24 was chosen. Although her envelope revealed the Six of Hearts, Teressa is taking home the incredible weekly prize of $16,832! She plans on using her winnings to fix her car and treat herself to a new hair-do. This means the Ace of Spades is still in play! We’re estimating next week’s weekly prize at $20,000, and if you find the Ace of Spades, you could be walking away with an estimated $318,554!
