Kids can go gaga in Palmer Rapids

For readers who didn’t have the opportunity to use a Gaga Ball Pit when they were of school age, gaga ball is a contemporary form of what was once called dodgeball. Players slap or hit the ball, aiming to reach others at knee height or lower. Once the ball touches you, you’re out. This form of the game limits the potential for injuries as throwing the ball at head height, etc. is not allowed in Gaga Ball.

“We gratefully acknowledge donations from the Palmer Rapids Lions Club and CO Country Market in Combermere. We would also like to thank the Woodworking students at Madawaska Valley High school for building it for us,” said school principal Helen Peterson. She added, “It takes a village!”
