The Valley’s cross-country ski club based in Brudenell will hold its sixth annual Opeongo Classic Loppet on Saturday, February 1st 2025. Opeongo Hills Nordic Ski Club offers groomed trails to suit all levels and abilities, so the Loppet event is a welcome crisp day out on the snow whether you are a participant in the races or a supporter sipping a hot drink on the sidelines. As preparations get under way, the Club has put out an appeal for volunteers to help:
- Parking, welcome, information
- Registration
- Course marshalls
- On trail nutrition station
- Post event food table
- Start / finish officials
- Results / awards
- Jack of all trades
