Madawaska United Soccer Club invites players aged 13 to 100 to join in with Futsal. The season began with 46 players on September 11 2025. (See above. Photo Tony Casta) Play continues throughout the winter each Thursday from 7-9pm at the Madawaska Valley District School gym. Even if you missed the discount for early registration, you can still join for $120 (adult) and $100 (youth 13-17) for the entire 8 month season to April. Half season registration (4 months) is $70/$60.
And what, you might ask, is Futsal? Basically it’s indoor five-a-side soccer played with a reduced-bounce ball for 20-minute halves, using modified soccer rules. MU had an excellent season with outdoor soccer – the 11+ team won the season in August at Bancroft – so this is an opportunity for more Valley residents to join in the fitness fun.
