Thank you to the St. Francis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for their generous donation of $10,000 to the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of a mammography machine at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, which will cost over $400,000 to replace. The new machine will bring 3D Digital Mammography to St. Francis – which provides clearer images of abnormalities within dense breast tissue and reduces false alarms by up to 40 percent.
