New skills from your Public Library

The Madawaska Valley Public Library offers you life-enriching resources and opportunities. Library patrons regularly take advantage of on-going activities every month such as Storytime for little ones every Wednesday morning, Chess Club (for beginners to expert), two adult Book Clubs, Lego Club to challenge your household’s creators, the Friday Walking Group to increase your fitness and socialization, and more. If you haven’t yet tried any of these, maybe you should do so in 2026.

Every month MV Public Library provides special activities to suit a wide range of ages. (See notices above.) For example, this Friday, Jan.30th your kids could attend a PA Day Craft session. (Please register in advance with Library staff, telephone (613)756-2000 or email to programs@madawaskavalleylibrary.ca)

And for anyone aiming to reset their living space this year, you can do no better than to attend the Decluttering Workshop at 1pm on Saturday, Jan.31st. Run by Valley resident Katrina Boguski, this session will provide you with tips to “live your best life” in a clear, well-organized environment. (Please register in advance, but drop-ins are also welcome at this workshop.)
