How will Valley parents keep the kids busy and out of trouble this March Break? The clever ones take advantage of quality children’s programming available from Madawaska Valley Public Library. Here’s a rundown of some activities and events planned for kids next week. Please be sure to register as early as possible for these in order to avoid disappointment. Wednesday March 18
- 10am-12pm– The Library has planned a kids’ St.Patrick’s Day Party at the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre in Barry’s Bay. Upstairs in the arena lounge they’ll enjoy music, games, crafts. Be sure they wear green!
- 1:30pm – SuperHero Art – This painting workshop at MV Library is for kids aged 8-14yrs. (All supplies provided.)
Thursday March 19
- 10:30-11:30am MV Library will be in BLR – Palmer Rapids Recreation Centre is the venue for kids who live in Brudenell Lyndoch Raglan to enjoy stories and art. (All materials supplied.)
- 3-4pm AI and Coding – Kids aged 8+ years can learn about Artificial Intelligence and Coding at MV Public Library, 19474 Opeongo Line (Hwy.60), Barry’s Bay
- 6pm Chess Club at MV Public Library in Barry’s Bay. For ages 7+ and open to all levels of experience. Bring a friend!
Friday March 20
- 1:30pm at the Library. Princesses and SuperHeroes can enjoy a Crafternoon. (All supplies provided.)
Saturday March 21
- 11am Lego Strongest Bridge Competition at the Library for teen creators
