Catch The Ace catch-up

This summer has been a lucky one for many supporters of local healthcare. More than $12,000 in weekly prizes have been won since The Current last reported on results of the popular weekly progressive lottery run by St. Francis Valley Healthcare.

A case in point is last Thursday’s winner, Annie Marsh, of Barry’s Bay. (Above. Photo submitted) Annie, who volunteers for Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care, purchased her ticket at Lorraine’s Pharmasave. She chose envelope number 22 for two reasons – her wedding anniversary is on the 22nd and her twins were born on the 22nd as well!

That card revealed the Ten of Spades, meaning Annie took home the weekly prize of $1,066. She plans to put the money toward her upcoming trip to Mexico this winter.

Annie supports the cause because she know how critical local healthcare can be – her mother-in-law died in the Madawaska Valley Hospice and received great care during her three months there.

You too can be a winner

The Ace of Spades is still in play. Be sure to get in for the Week 18 draw, where the estimated weekly prize is $1,066 and the progressive jackpot is sitting at approximately $28,868. Find the Ace of Spades and win both for a total estimated prize of $30,068!

Get your ticket at www.sfvhfcatchtheace.com before Wednesday, August 26 at 11:59 pm or at the following local vendors:

Whitney Pharmacy, Round Lake Centre Food Market, Round Lake Country Store, The Cottage Cup, Killaloe Village Pharmacy, Killaloe Hardware, Foundation Office, Barry’s Bay Ultramar, Barry’s Bay MacEwen, Lorraine’s Pharmasave, Barry’s Bay Shell, The Valley Manor and CO Country Market.
