Lisa Hildebrandt has put her name forward for a seat on Council in Madawaska Valley Township. She has submitted the following to The Current’s invitation to share with our readers her aims and aspirations:
I was born and raised in the Madawaska Valley, and I care deeply about both its future and the character that makes it such a special place to live. I bring a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to listen and ask questions before making decisions.
I believe council needs people who will look carefully at how taxpayers’ dollars are spent, be open to new ideas, and work cooperatively to find practical solutions. I’m not running with a personal agenda. I’m running because I want to contribute, represent residents fairly, and help Madawaska Valley grow in a way that makes sense while preserving what we value about our community.
