Voters in Madawaska Valley have reason to be grateful for their Public Library and their local Legion. As in many previous election campaigns, Madawaska Valley Public Library and the Royal Canadian Legion Barry’s Bay Branch 406 have combined forces to host an All Candidates Meeting. The event allows voters to hear candidates’ platforms on key issues. It will take place at Barry’s Bay Legion, 250 John Street, on Tuesday, 6th October 2026 at 7pm. Madawaska Valley resident, Sean Conway, will act as moderator for the evening.
Questions may be submitted in advance in one of three ways:
- In person at MV Public Library during opening hours
- By email to programs@madawaskavalleylibrary.ca
- Online using the form at https://forms.gle/8ZeCHEGCmDxd5HD58
MV Public Library CEO, Natalie Barrington, says that there is still time to submit questions for the candidates to answer at the meeting. Please note that you may direct your question to one or more candidates, and there is an option to put the question to all candidates. The organizers point out that questions may be edited for clarity. They say that not all questions will be asked due to time constraints, and that similar questions may be consolidated and only asked once.
