An update received June 16 from the Renfrew County and District (RCD) COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Committee advises that 67.1 percent of RCD residents (aged 12+) have received at least one dose of COVID-19 Vaccine as of June 14, 2021. This represents 74,806 doses administered. See below for chart showing vaccines administered by age group.
Youth between the ages of 12 and 19 may book appointments to receive the Pfizer vaccine. RCD vaccinations teams have seen a few instances of young people feeling faint or fainting after vaccination, and have issued some tips.
