MV gets new plow truck

The Finance & Administration Committee assembled with staff outside the township building during a meeting break on Feb. 28 to take possession of Madawaska Valley’s new plow truck. Shown above (L-R) are Mike Phillips, Hilary Kutchkoskie receiving the keys from Rob Kent of Gin-Cor Industries, Mayor Kim Love, Councillors Ernie Peplinski, Carl Bromwich, Elser Lee Archer, Shelley Maika, and plow truck driver Clayton Pecarski.

The new plow truck replaces the 2003 unit which had reached its usable life span. It was purchased in the 2017 Township budget for delivery in 2018. Its arrival was greeted with broad smiles by all. Councillor Archer (below) was happy to take a turn at the wheel.
