The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be taking part in the Festive R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign from November 23, 2018 until January 2, 2019. This year police are partnering with Canada Blood Services (CBS) and officers will be handing out festive cards at RIDE checks with messaging to drivers on the value of giving blood, being a donor and giving the ultimate holiday gift, the gift of life.
