OPP Killaloe Detachment wants you to be fraud-savvy

During the past week, the Killaloe OPP have responded to two fraud complaints involving the sharing of personal information. The OPP wants the community to become “Fraud Savvy.” Never give personal information by phone unless you have initiated the contact.

Don’t try, don’t buy, and don’t reply to spam or banking requests.

Carry only the identification you need. Put other important identification documents in a safe place. Shred unneeded documents with personal information.
