Jackpot increases as Ace of Spades escapes again
Congratulations to Maureen Braceland, Week 3 winner of St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch The Ace lottery. Braceland won the weekly prize of $1,149 with a ticket her husband bought at the Shell station in Barry’s Bay. Tickets are on sale now throughout the Valley for next Thursday’s draw. The Week 4 estimated weekly prize is $1,140 with an estimated progressive jackpot of $6,819. That means next week’s winning ticket could net some lucky winner an estimated total of $7,959.
Of course, the community as a whole is the big winner in this exciting lottery. (Photo inset shows where your $5 goes.) We are in the third round of Catch The Ace this year and 50 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales have gone into the Valley Manor Redevelopment fund.
