Gunshot wound leaves Pembroke man in critical condition

The Crime Unit of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a man with a gunshot wound attended the emergency department at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on September 25, 2020 at approximately 1:45 a.m. The 34-year-old was transferred to an Ottawa-area hospital in critical condition.

At this time police believe the shooting took place at a residence on Arnolds Lane in the City of Pembroke. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the nature of the shooting.
