On January 22, 2021 at approximately 5:30 a.m. the Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Fire Department along with the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the area of Little Ireland Road in the Hardwood Lake district for the reports of a house fire.
When crews arrived on scene, they found flames coming from the residence and the detached garage located on the property. Four stations and approximately ten firefighters responded to the scene.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and no bystanders or firefighters were injured in the blaze.
The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal were contacted; however, the Killaloe OPP crime unit are leading the investigation.
Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
