Fatal snowmobile collision under investigation

On Friday, March 4th, 2022 at approximately 12:30 p.m. members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motorized snow vehicle collision on private property in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards.

The driver and lone occupant of the motorized snow vehicle was pronounced deceased by Renfrew County Paramedic service. The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending further investigation. 

The Office of the Chief Coroner has ordered a post mortem to be conducted. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.  In the event you are reporting an occurrence that does not require immediate police assistance please call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to speak to someone at the Killaloe Detachment contact 613-757-2600.
