Lorna Hudder Memorial Golf Tournament aids local healthcare

Friends and family members of the late Lorna Hudder gathered to give back to local healthcare recently. A total of $2,806.70 was raised at the first annual Lorna Hudder Memorial Golf Tournament that took place on July 9 at the Homestead at Wolf Ridge. Tournament organizer Pat Pilgrim said Lorna was a strong supporter of local healthcare, so it was only natural that proceeds went to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation.  The Foundation raises funds for its three partners including St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care and Valley Manor. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of essential healthcare equipment. Pictured above from left, front row: Lorna’s husband Andy Hudder and tournament organizers Pat Pilgrim and Sue Sheridan.
